Items needed to make a footrest
- A wooden board 10 mm thick
- Drill
- 4 wooden legs
- Whitetail
- Foam
- Wadding
- Fabric
- Staples
How to do it
The first thing you have to do is cut the board with dimensions of approximately 40 x 35 cm. We’ll take the drill and make four holes in the four corners and then put threads on the legs at a distance of 4 cm from each edge approximate.
We will place the legs into the holes we had done previously on the board and put a little white glue these to better set and not move.
Then paste a piece of foam to the same size as the board with white glue. Ultimate line for the foam and the board surface to stick well. When we smeared tail will push both elements to come together in the right way and let dry about an hour.
We will cut the batting with a similar foam and the board width. Its length should be the length of the foam higher, leaving a few inches of slack so that we can then staple it to the board. We will post the batting with clips on the ends of the width.
We will cover all the material and begin to fix it straight along, especially if the fabric has a pattern of stripes. Finally, width and footrests are ready for us to use in the classroom or in our bedroom.
