The fins of the dryer drum screens are actually adhering to the walls of the dryer. These fins or vanes help direct airflow hot in the dryer as clothes tumble. The fins can loosen over time, drying every day, and can be damaged by shoes or heavy items accidentally left in pockets. The coins, clips and buttons children can sneak below the fins, and make noise in the dryer during the drying cycle. Fix fins can stop the noise and maybe you can recover some money.
